TCS Placement Paper 20th May 2007,Rajam

Hi friends ,
dis is srinivas belonging 2 cse 4m gmrit ,rajam............i m one of d few lucky guys who hav made thru .........
lemme give u some tips on how 2 get thru. the test is basically divided into 4rounds namely

1. Written
->verbal:dont take dis easy at all most of d people lose it here .......prepare dis section 4m d old papers ,most of d words are repeated.
synonyms->10 words.
antonyms->10 words.
sentence completion.
>quantitative ability
its d easiest section prep d previous papers well most of ?s are repeated only numericals may change
>critical reasoning
its d toughest part keep ur cool.........jus select d easiest of d paras ur given and do it in dat order...atleast 1 would b very easy.......u cant afford 2 miss it.

2.Technical round
though ur good at technical u  hav a chance of losing at here mak sure u express  ur views correctly and clearly
ur % doesnt matter 2 dem at all..........be very precise in ur explanation.
q1>definitely tell me abt urself
ans>if ur good at technical den dis ans doesnt matter, else mak sure u give a very good ans k.
q2>ur fav subjects
>>>>>he asks most of d questions 4m d subjects  u reveal...........but not all.......if ur 4m cse prep java ,c ,c++   4 sure.

3.MR round
its areal cake walk if ur good at technical.(bcoz if ur good at technical dey cant afford 2 miss u)..............dey generally test ur personal skills and how u handle things under stress................i waz given a situation like wat would u do if d batting team has only 10 overs left n r running away wid d game....wat would u do as a captain den.......dey ask us 2 say atleast 10 parameters.........dont panic at all.......take time ........n answer well............dey ask u 2 ask some ?'s

4.HR round
>its a mere formallity ........if u hav good spoken skills ur thru......basic ?s like weakness,strengths..why tcs.........dats it.

hope dis posting would be of some use 2 u.................thanks  ,bcoz widout u i don think i would hav made it.......so are rest 54 of my college mates who hav made thru.be cheerful in d interviews .
