MINDTREE PAPER ON 10th AUGUST 

Hi all, MindTree visited our college on 10th Aug 2007. This message is to tell u all a fact about the procedure MindTree people followed for short listing for interviews.

1. The first round was PAC test. It had 7 sections divided into two sub sect as 4 timed sections+3sections to be answered in 22min. This is the most easiest paper u can ever write in your life. They consider both your aggrigate and aptitude score for short listing for the second round.

2. This is a GD round round. For us it was conducted JUST FOR FORMALITY!!! ( There is a big story about it which made this fact to come out. But i dont want to reveal it here on the web ) They hid the truth that they wanted candidates with aggrigate more than 77 from our stream. Most of the students, with good aggrigate,who kept quite for long and talked some two words during the entire process were short listed for interview.

3. The final round was technical interview. I dont no what happened here as I was rejected in the GD (infact for having aggrigate less than 77). But friends said they asked the subjects of our interest and asked easy questions on them.

I will give u all a glimpse of that story. Even though i was not short listed for GD, I went through all the stages of TR and HR ( Puzzled? This is what happened that day because of some valid reason to get inside with the permission of HR ). I observed that the HEAD technical interviewer who asked questions on Mergesort to some people was not knowing what that actually is. So folks take it easy, the next time MT(empty) visits your campus. If you dont have a dream option, you better go for any other company which comes before it, provided you have what they call the NUMBER(good aggrigate).
