INFOSYS PAPER ON 22nd FEBRUARY AT KOLKATA
Hi I am an infoscion
Infosys the dream company of many ,came to our campus on 22 feb.Total of five
colleges sat for the drive a total of 158 students were selected from about
500-600 students.
The procedure was divided into 2 parts
Aptitude test(divided in to apti and verbal sec)
Interview
The aptitude part consisted of 5
problems of cubes and dices(go thru R.S Agarwal) Here is a tip that one of my
senior gave me to crack this type of problems:
for cubes...no need to make diag & then solve coz then solving will take
ages...just take down these formulae: check directly by answers whether n is
coming out to be whole number or not...
1 face coloured =6(n-2)(n-2)
2 faces coloured=12(n-2)
0 faces coloured=(n-2)(n-2)(n-2)
3 face coloured=8
cubes ques r very easy & marks fetching if u follow this procedure.Will hardly
take 2 mins to solve the entire ques... Next were q from data interpretation
basically easy sums but time consuming if u can calculate very fast then its
easy Next 5 consists of classification probs here also refer to R.S Agarwal Next
5 were of puzzel type and the last 5 were of syllogism.These 10 qs require
concentration and brain application so do them 1st. Verbal part consisted of 2
passeges leanthy but manageable then sentence complition and select the correct
phrase from option.
There is sectional cut off so be good at both. In interview be confident and be
truthful don't bluff and be brave and u will sail thru
